Project description
The idea behind Avatarel is to create a virtual online fitting room in augmented reality.
The project consists of two interconnected applications:

Mobile application for buyers, used to scan the user's body, indicate the size i dimensional fit and showing the appearance of the user in the selected clothing on his own avatar.

A web application for business partners used by companies selling clothes online to display digital versions of their products on their website for buyers to try on through the above-mentioned websites. mobile application.

Based on the scan, the application determines the user's dimensions and generates a 3D model of his body. Then the user, having his 3D model, i.e. an avatar, can try on digital clothes on it. He will be able to do this on the websites of partner companies by clicking on special buttons. By selecting a specific clothing product, the user will receive suggestions regarding the size and will see its visualization in augmented reality on their avatar. His avatar, dressed in various products, will be able to be shared in the form of photos or videos from augmented reality, which, according to assumptions, will cause a viral increase in the number of users. The key value for the user is the ability to make sure before buying that the clothes will not only fit him in terms of dimensions, but also aesthetically in relation to his figure. In this way, the solution will drastically reduce the number of product returns in the online channel. This will allow companies to significantly reduce the cost of returned goods and increase conversion, ensuring higher revenue.
